Hello. I am opening a discussion about making a Raspberry Pi Fire Alarm control system, with a custom 3D printed case for the Rasperry Pi control panel and custom 3D printed Horn Strobes and Pull Stations. I am hoping Ben Heck will take up this idea onto his show. I came up with the name "HeckTech Alarms" for the devices that are custom. I will put up some designs, etc. as much as possible. I am also making a Web Site for this topic, at http://rsfttech.wix.com/hecktechalarms.
There will be a new update on this topic sometime soon...
18.02---
The new update is here. I will post more blueprints soon, but I can't hold papers in front of the camera without looking too dumb . Sorry this took so long to post.
Here are two designs. The new Generation 2 Pull Station made by RΣTRALARM (My alarm development team) and the HeckTech Horn Strobe. The HeckTech horn strobe has an LED for each side of it (Top, Bottom, Left and Right), so it can be programmed to flash a pattern.
The HeckTech Horn Strobe. I forgot the model number.
The new Generation 2 RΣTRALARM Pull Station.
Both these things are theoretical, of course. (They don't exist yet.) I do, however, plan to get a Fire-Lite BG-12 and put it in my room.
I will try to get something uploaded before the year ends, unlike before...
