Raspberry PI 3 Dead

I got my PI 3 today, and it's DOA.  It comes up to the rainbow screen and hangs.  I measured the 5V and 3.3  volt pins and they are OK.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Please print out the results of:

    iwconfig

so I can see some things.

Try turning off power management. I have seen quite a few wifi complaints solved by turning it off including mine.

    ntewinkel found this:

sudo iw dev wlan0 set power_save off

We've yet to try it though. It might work for you.

Right now, the only way I can keep the wlan running, is by having a second 802.11 interface (i.e.  802.11 USB adapter) plugged in.

It seems to keep the on-board one powered on.

I'm still running an early Pi 3 build though, and need to update it.

I downloaded the latest NOOBS (1.9) and did a fresh install. Now it works. :-) Apparently the latest drivers are in this distro.
