Could the Raspberry Pi platform be the easiest for porting the open source webOS 1.0 operating system?
Since both Ubuntu and webOS have a Linux underpinning, I could see it easily added to the R-Pi roster. The benefits over other OS options come in the form mobile friendly functionality, intuitive user interface, and easier to handle multitasking.
Built into the ENYO framework for Open webOS 1.0 is easy handling of NFC. When data can be tradded in and out easily. WebOS supports bluetooth interfacing of keyboards and other devices. Add a touch digitizer input, and the whole setup could start cooking.
This is starting to sound like turnin a Raspberry Pi into a HP Touchpad.
Just a thought.
