Hi all I've just joing this group. I have to say I've not been this excited about new hardware since I was waiting for my BBC model B 30 years ago in 1982. image

 

I am sure we are going to have a lot of fun, and get some education along the way.

  • Completely agree with you Ray. I learned to program on a BBC Micro and I'm really looking forward to experimenting with the Raspberry Pi.

     

    A actually still have my original 1982 BBC Model B... including dual Opus DS/DD 800Mb floppy disk drives, 6502 second processor, Acorn analogue joysticks, BBC Speech Synthesiser featuring Kenneth Kendal and much, much more. I have fond memories of Revs, Aviator, Elite... I could go on and on...

  • Welcome, I also just joined the group. This reminds me of my 8052 Basic controller that I still have and mess around with every so often. I don't know if I can wait till May 10 for shipment though.
