I am here. Now what do I click to order?

  • I've gone to newark.com and all I get is a round robin of links that lead here:

    http://downloads.element14.com/raspberryPi2.html?isRedirect=true

     

    There is no live page on newark.com to order this device.

     

    I can only assume they're flat out of stock and that they'll have more in a month. Or two...

    Me: It says 'Further stock expected to ship May 11, 2012' So -- it's not in stock?

    Me: No image of it on the page either.

    Newark: they are on backorder.....we had 2000 orders for it just yesterday

    Me: Ack!

    Me: So I can't order it now, right?

    Newark: I can send you data on it

    Newark: you have an email?

    Newark: yes you can pre-order

    Me: I'd rather wait until it's out I think. I'd better concentrate on other things if it's not going to be available until May.

    Hi greenman! 

     

    Stock from the Raspberry Pi of the initial production quantity were limited and have already sold out.  If you'd like to make sure you're aware when we can begin accepting orders again you can register your interest and we'll keep you updated with the latest on availability.

     

    In the meantime, we hope you have fun hanging out here in the Community with all of your fellow Raspberry Pi group members!  Let us know if you have any other questions!
