Farnell Germany Orders

Can anyone from Farnell Germany please clarify whether you ship to private customer or not, i've heard from someone over there thst they had there order cancelled and were advised via phone and email that Farnell Germany do not ship to private customers, only businesses?

I've also heard this is the case in the Netherlands.

I seriously suggest that Farnell as a group have a single policy regarding the Raspberry Pi that you ship to private customers and without any catches like having to spend a certain amount.

A reply would be welcome either way as i've seen a lot of people asking about this on the net.

I agree. I simply ordered with the company name as my surname, but I really have no idea if they will take this order seriously. PLEASE do so!
The only thing i received was a mail with the subject "Auftragsbestätigung" ("confirmation") but it says that they will send me some information about when the product will be availible (I have seen lots of people reporting that they received such a mail - I haven't).

So please also respect the Germans who want to buy a RasPi!
