When will we able to order in quantity?
At the moment you can add more than one to your basket and check out and the email copy of your order shows the number you entered but then I got a PDF acknowledgement from uk.farnell.com showing quanity one!

From "Raspberry Pi" via Twitter
"The agreement we have with them was very clear that it was to be only 1 per customer."
They made no mention of when the limitation was to be lifted, but I suspect that it will not be while demand outstrips supply.
Doh! I should have read the front page of RaspberryPi.org more carefully as it says there: "Starting in a month or so, you will be able to place batch orders with both Premier Farnell and RS Components for as many units as you want" I wonder at what lead time!
n.b. The Roku2 which uses the same BCM2835 as the RPI has reportedly sold 2.5M units, so supply of the SoC should be no problem!
I think the RaspberryPi is going to be a game changer!
On the RPI forums: I predicted that the servers would fall over (I gave it a 10-1 chance)
I also predicted they will sell 500,000 this year, I'm now revising that up! (As I thought production would be the limiting factor)
I now predict it will be a game changer in more ways than I can think of
Hello, Thank you for your interest in the Raspberry PI.
Right now, Newark.com does have a [maximum sell] per order of 1. While the website will let you order multiples, the order will get stopped in our system and will need to be processed manually. Then you will receive an email from the order processor that says we cannot process your order due to "max sells" being applied. This will cause a delay in your order being processed
