What to do with the Debian download

I downloaded the Debian ZIP from the http://www.element14.com/community/groups/raspberry-pi page and unzipped to a .img file 1.84 Gig in size.

 

What do I do with it now? I cannot create a DVD unless I re-name it .iso but not sure if that makes sense?

 

What do I do with this file on my XP based PC.
