Mine is scheduled to ship March 13th. I assume I am receiving one of the first.

I too have a date W/C 12th March which I assume is part of the first batch as they are not expecting delivery from China untill around the 9th I have heard. I did get in early and already had an account so after many refreshes all through the order process I finally completed it around 7am and had a confirmation with expected date shorly after. Even so I still have my fingers crossed until I have my hands on it.
Well I'm going to buy a whole pile of units from Farnell when they're in stock. No stock, no sale.
It's one of the most important features of Farnell for me, the ability to see how many units of a product are in stock on their excellent website, place an order accordingly, and have the products arrive here the very next day. Farnell are excellent for this, I use them frequently, a great service.
If they're not going to keep stocks of Raspberry Pi and only manufacture them to order based on the "Register your interest" crap, then they will not get my custom, period. I doubt that will be the case though.
My guess is that Rpi will become a normal stocked product as soon as the next batch is manufactured. If that batch is for fewer than several hundred thousand units then they still haven't learned the lesson of the 29th.
Morgaine.
