Arch Linux for RPi released

G'day everyone,

 

the colleagues over at Arch | ARM have released their first version for the Raspberry PI devices which will be shipped with the next few days to those who were lucky enough to grab one.For more information head to raspberrymod.com where information will be gathered and help prvided.

  • I'm really happy that I can use my current (and might I add best) distro on RPi. When I last visited the arm site they said about 80% of repos have been ported. I'm hoping (and am sure it will be) this is enough. There's just no alternative to Arch and I think the RPi might add a few hundred knowledgeable users. Have been seeing an unhealthy growth in Arch recently.

     

    Arch Linux does not find Archers, Archers find Arch Linux.
