Interesting, would also be good to see classic ladder by Marc le Douarain running I know he has put a lot of hardwork into his own hardware but there is a place for the pi with the gpio.

With beremiz project / IEC-61131-3; you have 5 IEC standart languages in one design environment, they are;

Yep, been thinking that this would be a natural step - PLCs and automation are my day job but it would be cool to find an excuse to play with a Pi at work!
