I'm pretty certain that we have a troll in our midst...
Please don't feed it.

Sorry, I deleted my duplicated post (I was posting it from a cell phone) and I appearently deleted this new guy Ryan's posts who was saying that
1) TO-202 triacs were rare (which they're not http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?x=0&y=0&lang=en&site=us&KeyWords=triac+to-202 ), but more to the point I made a typo though frankly looking at the two packages online I honestly can't see a difference between the two.
2) I had (apparently?) made a similar post to one abishur did at around the same time. To which I commented that he had made a post similar to lameducks and was using lame's favourite phrase right now of "you're a witch", I mean, "you're abishur" ergo by the logic being put forth they must be the same person.
You made a typo? Well, everyone makes typos. But you seem to have lots of trouble with transposed letter typos, like "stuble" for "subtle" and "opedened" for "opened", similar to Abishur.
How did you know the RPF paid for the alpha boards "at their own expense" if you weren't privy to inside information? The only public information about reimbursements is that the trustees were reimbursed.
I'm disappointed you aren't Abishur. There's lots that Abishur could explain.
Hello (this is not just a reply to lameduck) - I would be grateful it if we could please refrain from proceeding with this discussion as to what identities community members here may have on other sites. If a community member wishes to disclose that information about themselves, then that is their decision. I believe those posting in this thread have a lot of technical knowledge and experience to share, so let's please engage in more productive discussions going forward.
Thanks!
Drew

+1 It's a nice level playing field over here - and we're allowed to push the envelope pretty far in all directions without heavyhanded intervention. It's a public forum too, not some secret society requiring a particular agenda + rolled up trouserleg to join - and because it's all public here then it matters not a jot who a particular member may be imo.

+1, but it seems that it will be a difficult proposition since it seems that some of the recently arrived e14 forum members only came here to refute any posts, particularly those where we right or wrong criticize the RPF or highlight technical issues with the Rpi, so far not a single technical contribution or original post.
And my comment about an ignore feature, was not intended as a general ban or censorship for a particular user, I just decided to simply ignore useless long arguments that will not change my mind about what I think about RPF and the Rpi.

At least it's not off topic here...
