Yup, my regular simmer with respect to getting my RPi is getting rather close to an outright boil.
I guess from the number of posts on the Raspberrypi.org site, as well as various 3rd party forums, people are starting to get their RPi units. Some are obvious that they are somehow linked or close to the Foundation or part of marketing recipients. Others are likely regular customers that got through on the launch day.
But what really gets me is when you find out that there are already new "boxed" RPi on eBay. Although these days I take everything with some skepticism, at least one seller (they are all from the UK) states that he is selling his "second" one because he order one from each of RS and Farnell. So while people like me were up at god awful hours in the middle of the night trying to even access the Raspberrypi.org and .com (store) sites to find out that we needed to order through RS and Farnell (but not RS and Farnell if outside North America, but not Allied or Newark directly if from Canada...) well some people were able to order multiple units.
It's great that some people are receiving theirs, and I will be very happy to read posts on the web about successes and failures. But what I really want now is information, real firm information...no guessing. I think we are owed it.
