How about posting confirmation numbers when people receive their R-Pi's. That should give us some idea of expected delivery time.
Example: My Conf # is 191353. I saw a post that 160xxx has received his. That gives me about 31K to go.

Hi again everyone.
Just to let you know, my Raspi arrived last Friday, 4th May.
My order (in UK) was 16457xxx ordered 08:41 on 29th Feb, after trying to complete an order since about 06:05.
My delivery date moved from 26/3, to 23/4, to 14/5, to 7/5...
I've not really used the Debian image much, but the Arch image is fast and lightweight.
The OpenELEC/XBMC image is pretty good, (compiled from their github), although the menus are a bit slow. Plays back video from a SAMBA share on an Ubuntu box a treat. Sound through HDMI is fine. Sound through 3.5mm jack is ok, but I get a clunk sound on track change.
