How about posting confirmation numbers when people receive their R-Pi's. That should give us some idea of expected delivery time.
Example: My Conf # is 191353. I saw a post that 160xxx has received his. That gives me about 31K to go.

I've heard Farnell people say that once you have an ORP number, you've ordered and things are looking good.
Jonas, so they've told you they would ship your 'pi last week. If I were you, I'd expect it "any moment now". It is quite possible that it's already on its way. On the other hand, there might be a few days delay meaning it will get sent this week. It's looking good.
FWIW:
I received my order confirmation with ORP number on March 30.
It says: "When stock is allocated to your order, we will send you a full order confirmation including prices, availability and expected delivery date."
Later on, I mailed for an ETA, and on April 20 Farnell said "Looking at your order it will probably be June/July time."
No other mails or information received.
I'm one of the UK customers who ordered via CPC right back at the beginning. From reading postings of others who ordered via CPC, none of us have heard where we are in the delivery queue (as in: confirming the promised 'all orders made before April 18th will be delivered by the end of June etc ) - certainly no emails despite being a CPC registered customer who used to receive daily offer emails! [or is that why I'm NOT receiving any emails!!!]
I did resort to emailing CPC to verify I was still on the list, back at May 1st, and they confirmed I was - but were quoting August as the delivery date (this was after the 'by end of June' statement from central Farnell !!
Without any communication, I can only guess when my 1657xxxx order code is likely to be processed ! [the original order was processed by CPC phoning me back due to the web problems, for card details etc - so the 'processed' order may have missed day 1 - but have all CPC customers been 'sidelined????
Its rather frustrating hearing of others who apparently ordered days later receiving theirs, as well as some with 2nd and 3rd Pis from their 'multiple personalities'.
At least I saw a friend's Pi operating last night !
Phil,
I can answer some of those questions based on CPC's responses to my emails as I am in the same boat.
Ordering via CPC created a back order which is not held directly against the customers account. Weird, but thats how it is. This probably also accounts for the fact updates are not received. CPC told me it was too "difficult" to send out updates to each customer!
CPC's stance as of a week ago was that Farnell are not sending them any allocation until the end of June and there is little they can do about it.
As of a week ago, CPC had received no devices so, yes all CPC's customers have been sidelined.
The whole thing makes a mockery of certain individuals in Farnell and the Raspberry Pi foundation who have repeatedly made a number of statements stating that CPC orders would be treated equally within the Farnell group; which clearly isn't happening.
A friend of mine who has never used Farnell or one of its group companies before, ordered in the 1st week of March (not sure which day; either 1st or 3rd I think) and received his device some 2/3 weeks ago. I'm still waiting for Farnell/CPC to explain that away given that established CPC customers who ordered earlier are not getting theirs for another few weeks. Needless to say I have yet to have a proper response.

Phil,
Just realised your on the CPC thread at the Raspberry Pi forums, so you probably know the above anyway.
