And now I see that the Model B is available for preorder.

Is the line that says "we've held your place in line" not accurate?

I received no further message to place the order, and every click on the link in the e-mail (http://newark.chtah.com/a/hBPUBSKAJwblAB8hJuVNsg74pZK/rasb1 and http://newark.chtah.com/a/hBPUBSKAJwblAB8hJuVNsg74pZK/rasb10) is met with the following:

Thank you for your interest in Raspberry Pi.

We know you have already registered for this great new technology, unfortunately we are currently experiencing a huge number of requests and are temporarily unable to take your order.

Please try the link in your email again later, we still have your place in line.

Until then, for the very latest updates, join the conversation at:

So ... what's the deal?  Have I "lost" my place in line, considering I wanted to order almost 2 months ago?

Oops. Did you try to order on March 1st or wait till later? I got my email on the 2 March and straightaway went to the site and ordered. My order has been processed and I still have the "August 12" shipping date. If you waited another day, you probably lost your place.
