Farnell invitation to pre-order?

I received the same.  It appears to be another opportunity to "register interest" not really pre-order.  I've already done that.  Very confusing.

Is your email client hiding images? Once its showing images there should be a pink "Place your order now!" button.

At least that is what I see once images are shown and clicking the button took me to a 'place your order' page.

I get that link too.  When I click through it it takes me to a "Select Country" dropdown, then a "Place Order/Continue" button and then it take me to this landing page:

That is a register interest page--not a pre-order page.

I did just call the customer Service number for Newark and was able to place an order.  So in the end, I'm in good shape.  Thanks all.

I've apparently been able to place the order, but after submitting it, I get redirected to the Farnell Distributor Gateway page without any word about the order being placed succesfully or not. Is that expected procedure behaviour or should I expect a confirmation of any sort? (I wouldn't try to place another order in case the order has been placed already, correct?)

Which contry are you ordering from?... the page responds differently depending on where you are ordering from. For me it was United Kingdom -> select the Consumer option and I arrived at a Place Order that had pricing details and accepted payment details... a few minutes later a order confirmation email with a reference nnumber arrived in my inbox.... simple enough

I tried again and now it worked, I assume the first time I was too slow made the session expire. Now I got the reference number and the order mail

I have been sent the pre order mail, with the free T-Shirt offer, but there is noway to specify Japan as my address.

This is quite frustrating.

I had same issue, I'm ordering from Dubai, UAE (United Arab Emirates), and it''s landed distributer list page. Any idea why?

I've sent them an email but not recieved a reply yet. I'm inclined to give them a break because I doubt that they expected so much demand, but I was hoping to use Rasberry Pi for my courses next semester and I doubt I'll have enough time to write materials now.
