Has anyone done this? I'm massively incompetent at this sort of thing, but my idea is to remove most of the internals from my otherwise functional but now obsolete Cassiopeia E-105, attach the LCD to the Pi's DSI connector for basic display function, and fit the connectors into the case as needed.
I'd have to find a sufficently small Linux distro, I guess, that would include support for the TFT touchscreen and still allow me to use the HDMI when I wanted that.
I guess this is pretty ambitious for an absolute newbie, but any thoughts/tips would be helpful.
