Still waiting for delivery date?

I placed my order April 22nd and have yet to hear anything about a ship date.  I order just says that it is backordered.  Has there been any updated shipping info??

Russ, I don't know where you ordered from. Mine is from Newark-Element14. On the My Orders page, the first screen shows all the orders you've made with status but for the oustanding order just says "Back Ordered". You have to then click on the Order Number and that takes you to a second screen with delivery date. Like I say, that's how it works with Newark ymmv.

I ordered on Mar 21 and now have an expected ship date of 16 July ..... however they are currently slipping that date almost one day per day so your guess is as bad as mine when I'll get it - let alone you.

I placed my order with Newark-Element14.  When I look at my order PO, the ship date/tracking is just blank.  I will give it till the end of the month and if I am still running blind, I will just cancel my order.  At this point I am really starting to lose faith in it ever showing up, so it might be time to move onto another project.

I don’t think you should lose faith in it ever turning up. From March 8th to June 30th that is nearly 4mths for me. It will eventually turn up; you just have to be patient and when it does eventually turn up I think you will be very pleased with it as I was/am. I know Farnell/Newark is doing the best they can under the supply issues encountered.

Hey, I can be as patient as the next guy if they give me a realistic date and stick to it ..... instead of giving a date and then every time it gets close they drop it back a bit.

Mine has gone from 18-June to 28-June to 5-July to 12-June and (yesterday) to 16-June. I'll be very surprised if they ship it before sometime in August. This all gives a very convincing imitation the whole thing being out of control.

Funny thing is that, if they had given me, say, an August date up front (and stuck to it) I'd be waiting quite patiently now.

I my expected arrival date was pushed back at least once, maybe twice, I can’t remember, but there again It wasn’t an item that I was pushed for and just let things ride and although I have tested it out and am very happy with it as it goes, I have just shelved it for the time being for protects with other development boards that I have in my possession, that I wish to continue with first.

The problem is indeed, the lack of communications on this problem. I ordered mine on 3rd April and it should be arrived until end of June, then in the week commencing 2-July, than ... nothing.

Further more, to make things worse, when I ordered I did it directly from site, without an account and therefore I can't track anything.

And the cherry on top of the cake is that my order number is ORP020210 and I read around here from another customer, with higher order number that she received the order, as it should, on 2nd July.

So .. suffering
