Still waiting for delivery date?

Holy Moly is right! I looked at the calendar wrong! How can that be? Today is the 9th of July and a Monday, doesn't that count for something? Anyway, it was truly a shock getting the 'pi so that could have confused me all weekend!

The reason that I said I am losing faith, is because up till I started asking in this forum, I just had a item that was backordered without a expected delivery date.  While I have been waiting, people who ordered on april 18th have already stated that theirs have arrived.  I order 4 days later and can't even get a backorder date or even a email telling me what is going on.

Now, since I asked in this thread, I now have a expected delivery date (8-15, so 4 basically 4 months) and someone from Newark actually sent me a email.  Now, if some of these items would have taken place even a month ago when they made the statement that all orders placed before 4-18 will be delivered by 6-30, there would not be any issues.  A little communication goes a long way.

I received my Pi and T-shirt just today (I am in Germany). I placed the order at the 4th of April and my reference number was ORP025675

At the 30th of June I get email with shipping information where the term of delivery was about 3-5 working days.

I think everuthing happened as they promissed, and I mostly satisfied with service. May be they could be more communicable and send more emails. But in principle everything was nice.

Oh wow!  I was referring to the other kind of inflation, the kind created by inept handwavers pretending they understand money.  But you're right, this could be the kind of inflation that followed the Big Bang, and it's easy to see the source of it:  Pi hype!  It's even obvious from the name:  Pi hype[rinflation].

You're really onto something there, it would explain so many things!  For example, cosmologists postulate Dark Matter to explain the missing mass of the universe, but have they even factored in the immense mass of Pi fanbois?  I bet they forgot that one!

This really deserves a lot more serious thought ...

Well for one thing, if we are in another inflationary period, the values of various physical "constants" such as - oh..... to take any random example .....say pi - will be changing (rather rapidly). And you know that might just be reflected in my rapidly changing shipping date.

The facts are incontrovertible!  I'm sure there's a Nobel Prize coming.  How do you feel about travelling to Sweden?
