Still waiting for delivery date?

e14 Contributor
e14 Contributor over 14 years ago

Hi,

I have ordered in early april and the only thing I got so far is an ORP number (ORP019443). So I am still waiting for an expected delivery date? Can anybody provide a contact (email etc.) where I can get more information about the delivery state?

Thanks,

Franz

Have you tried emailing sales? When I did, I coincidentally (?) had an email saying my pi was dispatched. I think I saw that happen to someone else.

I ordered on the 17th April, and received it on 2nd July. I have no idea what Farnell are doing with these orders... I've a suspicion that something has gone a bit wrong and perhaps they are prioritisng those who shout out!

As for the T-shirt, 2.8% too large, the black colour causes overheating, and I can't display an image on the back. I have also not found any user guide or FAQ online. I demand a refund! image

    sales@farnell.co.uk

(or if you are non UK, there's probably a .com address, check the bottom of your order confirmation email).

They say they respond within 48 hours.

Same problem. Ordered at Apr, 1, order No is ORP006884.

Got an email telling "it will be despatched the week commencing 02/07/2012", and still no futher updates.

    It's frustrating...

I can understand there can be some unforseen delays, BUT. Is it so hard to stay in touch with customers?

Just notify by email: "there is one more delay, please wait" - is it really so hard???!!!

As for now, this is the worst customer service I've ever seen...

I have ordered mine on May 10, received a mail talking about dispatching from July 9, credit card money taken on July 7 and then absolutely nothing.

Was my order shipped or not?

    Very unlikely.

They just freezed money on your bank account. When they will dispatch, you get email with invoice and  shipping number.

I guess you will receive your Pi in September.

Firstly, I was only charged the day before my Pi was dispatched. Has anyone been charged months before dispatch? I doubt it...

Second, Royal Mail is used in the UK. So will take at least 2 days. Other countries may take longer. So a dispatch of 9th July is still in 'don't get you knickers in a twist' territory image

They don't always use Royal Mail here in the UK.

Mine was sent about 4 weeks ago by UPS and I received it the following day... and with a t-shirt as well!
