Preorders/orders on the 5th

Hey I was wondering if anyone preordered or ordered on the 5th of july and if so what is your expected delivery time. I had registered my intrest before that time and I heard they were getting preferential ordering on the 5th, and I got an email on the 4th, but i was able to preorder on the 3rd some how. I had talked to the customer service rep before I ordered and they said my order should ship in August, a day later I received an email that my pi would ship in November 26th. So I'm just trying to see if thats what the time frame is or is it just my bad luck.

    Was it only the first email address you registered that got an invite to order? It'd make sense to limit it to one per person, instead of one per email address.

     

    Unfortunately,I think I accidentally put in the wrong email the first time I registered, and just resubmitted later with the corrected email address. Which means I may limited to whenever they finally open orders to the public, if they are limiting in that manner.
