Hi,

What is the highest SD class usable by Raspberry Pi (or the recommended class)?

Cheers

David

I run a 8GB class 10 SD card.  If that helps you.

It is less about the class of the SD card, but rather whether it has been shown to specifically be compatible with the Raspberry Pi. There is a list of verified SD cards here: http://elinux.org/RPi_VerifiedPeripherals#SD_cards

Thanks Noah - Just thinking about when Apple 10MB harddrives were in use and now we have 8GB (or more) postage size disk.

How about you Fergus, what brand of SD Card do you use?
