Raspberry Pi SD Card

Hello!

I ordered my Raspberry Pi 23 July, and it arrived this morning (1 August). Great service Element 14

In the product description when I ordered it, it says "Fedora Linux Software", but no software came with it? Did I miss something, or did I misunderstand the product details?

So, I guess I need to go get a SD card. I do want to use this as a development platform, so I am soliciting suggestions as to the specs of the card I should get? Any brands to look out for / avoid?

Since nobody has anything to say, I will reply to myself with my findings ;-)

If you Google the problem, you will find that Class 10 SD cards are not recommended. This has been my experience. All I had at home since Element14 doesn't supply software with it was a Class 10 Sandisk ARam 8GB, and the perfomance has been very ordinary :-(

Now that I have joined the Raspberry Pi group, I will direct further questions there.

Disk issues aside, it is just like using Linux, and a LOT of fun!
