Hi,
I built an expansion board for the Raspberry Pi, quite different from the gertboard with a different focus (fully assembled, tiny piggyback board, less i/o, rs-485 and RS-232RS-232, RTC).
It was tweetet by @raspberry_pi and already gained some attention.
I made this fully open-sorce (schematics and source-code). I got a lot of requests where to buy it, so I want to sell the board at a low price, I think element14 would also be an ideal distribution partner.
What do you think?
Here is the link to my blog with details:

My "big picture" is to create a lot of drivers for RS-485 hardware like stepper-motor controllers, and also additional boards which can communicate via RS-485, so you can connect a lot of devices to the raspberry-pi.
