raspberry pi not booting

ok i just go a raspberry pi and i have a wheezy sd card. when i plug in the raspberry pi in for 1 second i shows a rainbow imag and the has a black screen, with the logo in the left corner. im confused because isnt it suposed to have scrolling text? ive tied two sd cards both did the same. please someone help!

Take a look at the RasPi Troubleshooting Wiki http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting. One likely culprit is low 5V system voltage due to an iffy power supply or Micro USB cable. You can measure the system voltage between TP1 and TP2 as shown here: http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting#Troubleshooting_power_problems. There's additional information on power supply problems here: http://elinux.org/RPi_Hardware#Power_Supply_Problems.

The fact that you're getting the rainbow image is good, since it means that video is working and RasPi's SoC is finding the boot files on your SD card. As the boot process continues, the SoC requires more current and if your power supply + cable aren't up to spec, the boot process fails. It could be something else, but TP1-TP2 voltage is easy to check if you have a voltmeter.

adding to this, If you don't already know, for the model B the recommended current supply is 1A. Check if your supply can supply this.
