Hi forum admin

Just like to hear why has this thread "RG1 1.8V regulator" been removed from the forum view ?

is it because we not are allowed to have an free dialog about the Raspberry PI ?

Thanks

The thread is still there for me, but it's listed on page 3 of

the RPi group recent posts, along with others that were

    last modified 3 weeks ago.

As coder27 says, that's not admin action but simply the nutty hide'n'seek bug that we've been reporting for a long while now.  Here's a direct link to the "RG1 1.8v regulator" thread that is current hiding from us:

Here is the thread in which we are discussing the date-related thread sorting bug:

Until the bug is fixed, don't believe that the "Last post" indicated is really the last post (it's random), nor believe the date sorting.

Hi, there was a reply in the "RG1 1.8v"  thread that was flagged as abuse and hidden pending moderation.  I determined that it was flagged an illegitimate reason, so I released that reply from the moderation queue which made it visible again.

However, there is a bug in our web application which caused this moderation action to be treated as an update to the thread.  This triggered email updates and added the thread to the recent activity feed.  I'll look into fixing that bug for our next release.

For now, please let me know if you have trouble seeing the RG1 1.8V thread: http://www.element14.com/community/message/58681#58681/l/re-rg1-18v-regulator

    Thanks,

    Drew

I think it's fair to say that people are jumpy after the badly researched and completely misplaced threat made against reasoned forum discussions by a recent visitor.  Threads don't disappear here under normal circumstances.

The date handling bug is relatively innocuous but it has a much greater impact on people than it might seem.  If there is anything that we can do to help expedite it being fixed, such as supplying additional tests or diagnostics, please let us know, Element 14 peeps. image

    Morgaine.
