A co-worker turned me on to RP and without really thinking about it I sought out and purchased one. Now it feels akin to buying a guitar when what I really want is to learn to play piano. Main goal is to learn basic programming (database, data crunching, nothing spectacular) but not sure where/how to start. RP seems like the right choice. I don't have a programming background and my basic Linux skills need ramping up.
Other than a power supply and SD card any other suggestions on what to get?
