I am looking for a 3D CAD model of the Pi Face. My son is creating a case with the 3D printer at school. Finding the RPi 3D model was a breeze. After several hours looking for a 3D model of the Pi Face, I give up.
Any help would be appreciated.

No luck yet. Hopefully I can get more than two replies.
Autodesk 123D is difficult. I have tried two times and cannot get a compiled 3D image that isn't distorted in some way.
Hey Steven
When you say the image is distorted what exactly do you mean? I've never had an issue with 123D except a few crashes here and there but that seem to be better with the newer realease.

1st time took 20+ pictures. Top, sides and bottom. Tried to overlap as much as I could. 123D could only use 4 of the images. There must have been trouble stitching only 4 images causing the distortion.
2nd time took 15+ pictures but only the top and sides. 123D still could only use 4 images.
Any suggestions?

Hey Steven
You must be talking about 123d catch. I thought you were trying to use 123d design. 123d catch is not very good currently. For the best results the object can not be very reflective and you should be trying to take the images in a dimmer room. I have been able to get okay 3d models using it but not anything I would use for printing. I know this will be improved as autodesk sees 3d printing as the next thing and that's why they are teaming up with Makerbot. The want their software to be more capable and easier to use with 3d printers. I am part of the beta program for
autodesks products and have been testing the 123d apps along with other products for some time now and have found that they are getting better but with anything new it takes time. If you have any feedback after your run with it let me know so I can tell the Autodesk developers. Also if you ever have any questions about Autodesk products let me know as I've more than likely played around in them.
