I have a Model B rev 2 board (2191863) that I received in March. On Friday, I was doing nothing more complex than inserting an SD-Card when the sides of it decided to ping off. Now it can't hold a card unassisted which means it's impossible to boot. Whilst I can get by with the assistance of a clothes peg, does the warranty cover this fault and, if so, what is the procedure for getting a replacement ?
My initial feeling is that a critical part failing within 3 months of irregular is not cohesive with being of "satisfactory quality" or "fitness for purpose" as per the sale of goods act.
I have read the myriad postings on the internet describing various "engineering solutions" to the problem but nothing about actually making a warranty claim.
Thanks.
