new tiny pi camera

I have bought a new raspberry pi tiny camera is their any new software to run with this camera.

I've got it working but its only on for about 15 sec how can I view what its records and how can I record longer video.

would any on help me with this please

If you've done everything step by step on the guild you should have no problems running the pi CAM. If it doesn't work the first time you tried installing it, then make sure you've inserted it right, have the newest OS on your pi SD card and give it another try. also make sure you are typing in the commands right and you should have no problem.

thank you it works now .
how can i veiw what it has video
It only stays on for 15 sec
can it record longer video

yes, you just need to type in the command raspivid -o video.h264 -t X where X = the number of milliseconds you want to record.
