Hi, Im having trouble with OMX player does any one know how to recover control of the omxplayer if the terminal closes and the player continues?

Cant seem to have control over the player once it starts, is there a way to kill the player or regain control?

Hello Omar, I am no linux whizz, but have you tried going into a terminal, doing sudo top which will show you all the running process (one of which should be omx player, and then kill the process from there?

Change Workspace on the Pi and run top from there (under Sudo) to kill the process ?

According to this page, 'q' should also quit OMXplayer.
