final groklaw article

I know some people here learned a lot about various topics like copyright law,

open source, linux, blogging, etc. from groklaw, which has posted its last article.

  • It's a terrible shame to lose Groklaw.  I'm hoping PJ will change her mind -- she's taken indefinite leave before and then came back when the news got too important not to comment about.  I understand her being upset about the prospect of all e-mail traffic being monitored all the time, but it seems to me that the vast majority of Groklaw is public documents and open commentary, so IMO Groklaw could still provide a huge service without needing e-mail to be confidential.  But it's of course up to PJ, and I'm very grateful for her work.
