Raspberry Pi GertBoard with DHT11 and EC/pH Transmitter

Hello there!!

I'm working on a prototype for enviromental monitoring.

I bought the last Raspberry Pi and the last GertBoard; i connected them with a home made ribbon cable (already tested with digital multimeter).

I need to get some data from two different enviroments: air and water.

Air monitoring:

- Temperature (°C)

- Humidity (RH %)

Water monitoring:

- PH (PH)

- EC (micro/S)

For the temperature and the humidity i bought the DHT11, a cheap but accurate sensor that i'm pretty sure you already know something about it.. Uses a single-wire serial interface.

For the water, i bought the two sensors conneted to a little unit.

This little unit gives me out two separate isolated analog signals: 0 - 5 Vdc.

Unit Specs.

""

Model A1005 EC/pH Transmitter with isolated outputs.

EC Range: 0-5 EC or 0-5000micro/S  . Error 2% .

pH Range: 0-14pH . Error .2%.

Outputs: EC 0-5vdc , pH 0-5vdc isolated.

Calibration: Trim pots for both EC and pH

""

Now the question: how should i connect all this parts together to get the best results?

Can you help me also to start writing the program?

I need to print the four values on the screen.

(maybe C is the best way, but if you have better suggestion i will be happy)

After this i will have to write some digital outputs, but i think it will be the easiest part..

Waiting answers.. Many thanks everybody for your help!

(I'm italian, sorry for my bad english!!!)
