So! The library I work for has recently invested in a number of RPis in order to expand our system's digital literacy offerings. We have laptop kits, arduino kits, xbox kits, Lego Mindstorm kits, and hopefully soon we will have Raspberry Pi kits. These would circulate among our branches, and perhaps make visits to schools as part of our outreach programming.
Unfortuately, we have run into a minor hurdle. We are looking for a small monitor that can be used with the RPi in a mobile environment. Cheaper is better, but at the same time, we don't want everyone spending more time scruntizing illegible fonts than they must. A sweet spot between portability, durability, legibilty, and cost would be ideal. Oh, and our purchasing department has a "no ebay" policy.
Any input that you all could pitch in would be grand, as I would hate to buy something and find out that it doesn't meet our needs.
