bitcoin mining?

Hi, I've been reading into bitcoin mining recently but I have no idea how to start. is there any links or guides on how to start? Any help is appreciated Thanks -m3dik

Remember that the most important thing is to back up your Bitcoin wallet after each transaction. Probably to a removable media, like a flash memory stick.

Is there a need for crypting it? Or just backing it up as an open file do the trick?
