To be honest the 1A unit is more than good enough for this application. I don't envisage any problems even with all the project hardware in use even with the WIFI and PIFACE after ball that is basically a 16x2 LCD and Switches

Please note that you will need to put the Pi and the PiFace in the case separately as you will need to align each board in to the slots cut in to the case for it. Be particularly careful when putting the Pi Face in so as not to damage either the tactile switches or the selector switch at the top as they can be a bit fragile and the case is under a bit of pressure whilst you pop it in to the top slot

Two other things to note is that the moulding on the micro-usb power lead can catch the case and be rather awkward on some models of supply, also there is no cut out for the camera in this case so you will need to cut this your self.

It's OK just fiddly.. The carbon fibre effect looks cool though!

    John

Do you have any heads up abut the dispatch of the goods.

Being on the far side of the world, I'm curious if Santa or the goods will arrive first.

I'm thinking an overnight order for the Pi Face Controller (via the NZ site), to ensure Xmas day doesn't get delayed might be in order.

    Cheers

    Mark
