So, my wife gave me a Raspberry Pi for Christmas. (She loves me!)
Well, I opened the box and pulled out the package. Cool, it's an anti-stat bag with the board in it! So, I push it back into the box to save for later, and my wife says, "I bought you the $40 version." I say, "Wow, really, the one with the SD card?" and look back in the box, but there's only an anti-stat bag with the Pi itself. Hmmm...
So, I happen to look down on the floor and I see the SD card over under a table, but when I pick it up, I see that it is only the carrier with the logo on it and there is no actual SD card. Uh-oh. Well, now I'm sad, and I think about it for the rest of the day, and I check online and see that I can buy another one, so all is not lost, but it sure is a disappointment. Then just in case, after everybody has gone, my wife and I decide to go through the entire trash bag of Christmas present wrapping. (She *really* loves me!) We were lucky, I found the micro-SD card near the bottom!!! I'm happy again!
Can you guys do a better job of packaging this stuff? I'm not sure what the best way is, maybe another separate little baggie for the SD card and carrier, or maybe put it in the same bag with the Raspberry Pi itself, or maybe use a different box so you open a lid and pick the stuff up out of the box instead of sliding it out of the end.
I'd gladly pay for better packaging so that I don't have to sit there all dejected!
