Bonjour,

Quelles sont les possibilités d'alimentation et la consommation la plus allégée pour la Raspberry Pi B ?

Par exemple pour une version embarquée en modélisme ? (sur accus)

 

De manière plus large, quelles sont les consommations des modules annexes (GPS, I/O, wifi) ?

    The raspberry pi's power consumption is about 400mA average at 5V = 2000mW. Almost half is converted to 3.3V using a linear regulator, which wastes 1.7*200mA = 340mW. If you don't need ethernet, the ethernet-and-USB-Hub chip is quite a power hog. something on the order of 150mA * 3.3V = 500mW. So a model-A is more energy-efficient.

     

    A power-efficient GPS will use about 40mA at 3.3V. I'm not sure what Wifi would use. I've never measured it. And I can't provide an estimate for the generic "I/O".

     

    So, to conserve power: provide 3.3V using a switched regulator. Remove the regulator on the 'pi (or provide 3.4V and hope that makes the regulator on the pi switch itself off).

    Use the model-A version.


    One thing you can use to make things more efficient is that the 5V on the 'pi is used only for a few things. One it powers the linear regulator for the 3.3V. If you've removed that, this leaves the CPU, USB and HDMI. If you're not using the 5V on the USB and HDMI ports, you can run the CPU directly from a single 3.3-4.2V LIPO Cell....
