Wolfson Audio Card for the Raspberry Pi

Beautiful piece of engineering, easy to install. And the accolades stop right there.

After digging around for software, none forthcoming with the hardware package, I spent several hours trying to install, only to be thwarted at the Git-clone stage.

OK, it's a large file, but surely the remote server can deal with it.

I'm very disappointed with Element14 and Wolfson for selling a product which is, at the moment, uninstallable.

Hi Dave and thanks for getting back so promptly.
I'm trying to install the kernels on RaspBMC.
I get as far as the Git stage, the software downloads fine but then I get errors at the delta stage.
I've tried over a dozen times now, each time completely removing the kernel_source directory (rm -rf...) and recreating the same directory, starting git init and downloading the git file.
All goes well up to the delta stage and then always stops with a variety of errors.
I've spent two days now and am getting very p****d off. Why market a product with no real software support?

I have moved this over to our Wolfson Audio group to see if anyone can lend some of their expertise to the trouble you are having. I will also reach out to some of the resources we have here to troubleshoot further.
