You may run into some issues based on the experiences from this article: http://www.correlatedcontent.com/blog/bluetooth-keyboard-on-the-raspberry-pi/
An easier approach if you are looking for a wireless keyboard may be something lie this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-4G-Wireless-Mini-Keyboard-Remote-Touchpad-for-Smart-TV-MX-M6-M8-Android-TV-Box-/371202424342?pt=UK_Computing_ComputerComponents_KeyboardsMice&hash=item566d637e16
Thanks i am building a raspberry pi portable and was wondering if i could use my embedded Bluetooth chip to occasionally use a touchscreen

sorry keyboard not touch screen
you may need some drivers to use the Bluetooth keyboard functionality.
This is entirely feasible when you have a working system. The reason for my wireless keyboard suggestion was the driverless operation capabilities.
Should be OK, you will need to use a supported Bluetooth adapter on the RPI or download the driver for your device.
Remember that many small BT keyboards whilst they work mostly OK sometimes have issues with the extra weird key presses for standard keys and also they are not suitable for long term use as they are tiring on the hands.
Thanks could you give me a link to a good one to buy
I used this one and it works like a charm
Not very handy when you have to type a lot, but it's ok for occasional work
i see this is wireless but is it BT
i really want a BT one so i can connect my raspberry pi to other devices and occassional use a BT keyboard
The datasheet says "not bluetooth".
Sorry my mistake. This is not bluetooth
