hdmi r pi

I bought r pi and used a hdmi vga converter. Went on display when noobs install and then at the end of the installation of the display is turned off and can never get a view I have tried all the config file. if something burned on r pi? or he hdmi vga converter? or something else ...

Still nothing ... I ordered hdmi dvi cable so I'll try to dvi monitor. If someone has a suggestion feel free to speak up. Question is thoes not working hdmi serial converter or I burned r pi hdmi output.

Can you remove the SD card, put it in a computer, open '/boot/config.txt' and uncomment the following lines?
hdmi_drive=1 hdmi_force_hotplug=1

I think you should be checking your power supply.

The hdmi was present when you fired it up, and the couple of installs I've done I never had any issue with HDMI not being present ...except in the early days with a power supply dropping below 4.8v?

Their advice about removing the ethernet and USB during boot is a quick way to see if it is the cause.

I tried without USB and Ethernet and only with hdmi vga converter and nothing.
I will try to check the power supply. I think it's okay because the output is 5V 750mA.

That would be a wise move. 750mA is cutting it a bit fine. More information about power supply requirements can be found here:

Here's the info, I successfully installed NOOBS on R Pi seems to be a problem in HDMI VGA Converter. Now I use HDMI DVI cable and it works thanks to everyone.
