Maybe you should move your question to the raspberry pi section( Raspberry Pi )
But i would suggest not to stick with a specific starter kit, maybe get a starter kit for electronics(some tools and wires and breadboard etc...) and get some components like relays and sensors to get started with some projects, or try to do/replicate a project you saw and liked
