The Future of Rasberry Pi

I'm just wondering how you would try to answer these questions.

1.) When do you think Raspberry Pi 2 Model A will come out?

2.) Do you think that the A Unit will still be $20?

3.) Will the A Unit outrun the B Unit?

    Hello happyville101

We do not have any information on this product at this time. If we do hear anything it will be announced in the Raspberry Pi area.

    Thank you,

    Jamie

    Hi Brian,

    1) Well it took over a year for the original model A to appear after the model B was shipping. Of course a lot of time and energy was spent getting the supply to catch up to the overwhelming

          of the B.

    2) I think that will probably be one of the main objectives and judging by the $35 price of the Pi 2, I think it can be done.

    3) Not exactly sure which A and B you are talking about but here is what I think you mean. The Pi 2 model A will certainly be faster than the original model B. I assume that to be able to meet

the $20 price point it will also settle for 512 MB SDRAM and reduced I/O although going for 2 USB and 10/100 Ethernet on the Pi 2 model A for $20 would be an definite plus.
