Use portable DVD screen for Laptop Pi

Hello,

Could I use a portable DVD player with AV input for building a portable laptop with RPi??Cause I can't buy screens from eBay because of PayPal...

  • Yep.  You sure can.  You just might need to make custom cables as your typical AV cables are too long for this application.  Just bear in mind the AV input won't be as sharp as an hdmi.

     

    I did this and I'm not very satisfied with the resolution, but I picked up an older player for $5 at the local thrift shop.
