What type of power supply are you using?

This may sound silly, but check your cables to your monitor if they are ok and also check the power button of your screen.

Once i forgot to power my monitor and i was wondering also if i had done something wrong.

There might be something useful in the RasPi Troubleshooting Wiki: http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting#No_HDMI_output_at_all

Do check the +5V voltage level (TP1 to TP2 on a RasPi 1, I don't know where on a RasPi 2).  I had no HDMI output when I first tried a RasPi back in 2012 because my power supply wasn't supplying enough voltage.
