I have been looking to get one for quite some time now. It is still completely sold out. An ETA would be nice.

You could use any of the Pi models to do whatever you want to do with the Zero pretty much, apart from the OTG capability (and even that may be possibly with a hack on some Pi's - no idea).

Set up stock notifications for various webshops and follow them on social media. Usually the replenished stock is announced, allowing you to order immediately.

But as shabaz mentions, you could use any Pi model for your project. Or at least use a regular pi for the prototype until you get a Zero in your hands.

I ordered two Zeros on the 26 November. They were delivered about a week ago.

Sorry the essential kit does not include Pi Zero. I re-read many times until I looked at questions to find no Pi zero!

    From the PI Hut

    Raspberry Pi Zero Update

Just a quick heads-up! We're expecting a large batch of Raspberry Pi Zero on Wednesday 24th Feb.

I'm planning to make the stock available from 9am on the day - but will follow up with a more informative email before then!
