Hi all, still learning how to us my Cirrus Audio Card. I'm hoping to be able to rename my files that are produced by the recording. At the moment, the recordings are overwriting one another as I have the filename set as the same thing. I was assuming that the files would be renamed recording(2).wav and recording(3).wav etc like Windows does. I've got experience in the past using Raspistill to write files as the time and date and using the follow line of code:
filename='date +%Y%m%dT%H%M%S'.jpg
This however does not work with arecord so is there a way to get recordings to be numbered sequentially?
