Raspberry WIFI and 3G simultaneously ? (IoT gateway)

Hi everybody I'm new with raspberry but i have to do a project with it and I need to know if it's possible , using a 3G shield for Rpi 3 (or other model), to collect data from Smart Devices through WIFI and simultaneously send it to a remote server throughout a 3G interface. If it's possible can you give me some advice to start? Thanks in advance.

There is a company that supplies the SIM chip you would need.

I don't have time to do a proper search, but you the link supplied here will get you to their site.

I did see a set of instructions for using their SIM/service to get the Pi to communicate over the cell infrastructure.

I believe this is for the Pi 2 running Linux (Raspien). The Pi 3 is out and has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth.

If you are looking at using Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Core, you will need to sign up for their "preview" version for the Pi 3. I believe it enables the WiFi and Bluetooth.
