I am planning to buy Raspberry PI 3, as per the config it has built-in Wifi so why does a Wifi USB dongle is recommended?
What is the tried and true method now? I have the Pi3 and for the most part the built-in Wifi works. But sometimes I have to plug an external unit in.
And today - it doesn't work at all. I have to resort to eth0 instead of wlan0.
Not good.
